Before making a partial denture, the health of the remaining teeth and gums must be evaluated. Tooth decay, gum disease or damaged teeth may need treatment first.

Bring the damaged denture and all broken pieces to the clinic for assessment. Some dentures can be repaired, while extensively damaged, worn or poorly fitting dentures may need to be remade.
